Class Description: In this class you will learn how to carve intricate cut outs, use ink dye to color your gourd, use 2-step patina paint and apply copper leaf using heat activated glue.  The final embellishment will be done using copper wire with your own jewelry making tools.  You will have your choice of three patterns to choose from; dragonfly, kokopeli and gecko, or combine all three on one tourd.  (A second tea light may be made if time allows)  

Supplies students must bring:  An adjustable heat wood burner with small skew or blade tip, a Dremel with flexible shaft (please no battery operated), a DuraGrit taper or  Kutzall fine taper burr, a heat tool,  dust mask,  jewelry tools including round nose pliers, nylon jaw pliers and wire cutters. 

 ** Some tools and supplies will be available for purchase from instructor the day of class.
